Test preparation

Online prep for Qudurat, Tahsili, NAFS and language tests

In Saudi Arabia, Qudurat and Tahsili count toward your son's or daughter's university admission, and preparing for them takes a plan, not a last-week cram. We prepare students for the Qudurat and Tahsili tests and for language tests such as IELTS. Practice for the NAFS tests is part of the lessons too. We start at your child's level and practice with them on questions in the test format and on time management.

  • A free trial lesson is available with each teacher, in every section and subject
  • Lessons last 30, 40, 60, 90 or 120 minutes
  • Female teachers are available, with a dedicated section for women
  • Lesson times are flexible for each student and set in their country's time zone

Who this program is for

For students with an important test ahead who want to prepare with a clear plan and regular practice.

  • Getting ready for Qudurat and Tahsili

A secondary student in Saudi Arabia preparing for university admission, who wants to understand the question types and practice them regularly before test day.

  • Preparing for NAFS

A student in one of the grades NAFS covers in Saudi schools, who needs to strengthen the areas it measures with questions in its style.

  • Facing national exams in their country

A student in the UAE, Kuwait, Qatar, Bahrain or Oman who wants structured revision before ministry or national exams.

  • Needing a language test

A student who needs a score on an English language test, for university admission or a scholarship to study abroad.

What we work on in lessons

Together we pin down the test your child is preparing for, then focus on what that test measures.

  • General Aptitude Test (Qudurat)

This test is run by the Education and Training Evaluation Commission (ETEC). It measures verbal and quantitative ability and is taken by secondary graduates applying to university. We practice both question types and the ways of thinking that lead to the answer.

  • Standard Achievement Admission Test (Tahsili)

It measures secondary students' attainment in core subjects and is used with Qudurat for university admission. We go over the subjects it covers with the student and practice questions in its format.

  • National Assessments (NAFS)

This national assessment is run by the Education and Training Evaluation Commission (ETEC). It covers Grade 3 in math and reading, and Grade 6 and 3rd intermediate in math, reading and science. Practice for the NAFS tests is part of our lessons, with questions in these areas.

  • National exams in the Gulf countries

The UAE, Kuwait, Qatar, Bahrain and Oman each have their own national or ministry exams. We prepare students for these exams by reviewing the subjects they cover and practicing questions in their format. You'll find the details for your country on its curriculum page.

  • Language tests

We work with students on English listening, reading, writing and speaking, both for everyday use and for language tests such as IELTS.

  • Time management and reading the question

We practice dividing time between the questions, knowing when to leave a hard question and come back to it, and reading each question carefully so the same mistakes don't keep coming up.

How preparation works

Clear steps from the first lesson to test day.

  1. We identify the test and their level

We find out which test the student is preparing for and when it is, and identify their strengths and what needs more work.

  2. We build the foundation

We go over the concepts and skills the test measures, starting with what the student needs most.

  3. We practice test questions

The student works through test-style questions that build in difficulty, then we talk through how they solved them and why each mistake happened.

  4. We review before test day

We practice with sample tests timed like the real one, and focus the final revision on what the student needs.

How lessons work

  1. 1

    One-to-one lessons

Lessons are one-to-one: one teacher per student, so we start at your child's level and move at their pace.

  2. 2

    Online, with flexible times

Lessons run on whichever available online platform is easiest for the student. Lesson times are flexible for each student and set in their country's time zone, so we fit lessons around the school day and study time.

  3. 3

A lesson length that fits the practice

Lessons last 30, 40, 60, 90 or 120 minutes. Together we choose the length by the kind of practice: a longer lesson to work through a full timed section of the test, a shorter one to work on a single skill.

  4. 4

    Progress updates for parents

We keep parents updated on their child's progress, so you know what they've covered and what still needs revision before the test.

Questions about test prep

Do you prepare students for both Qudurat and Tahsili?

Yes. We prepare students for the Qudurat and Tahsili tests, both of which are run by the Education and Training Evaluation Commission (ETEC). For Qudurat, we practice verbal and quantitative questions; for Tahsili, we go over the subjects the test covers. Your child can start with one or prepare for both together, depending on when each test is.

Do you prepare students for NAFS?

Yes. Practice for the NAFS tests is part of our lessons. NAFS is a national assessment run by the Education and Training Evaluation Commission (ETEC). It covers Grade 3 in math and reading, and Grade 6 and 3rd intermediate in math, reading and science.

Do you prepare students for exams in the UAE, Kuwait, Qatar, Bahrain and Oman?

Yes. Each country has its own: in the UAE, the end-of-term central exams; in Kuwait, the Grade 12 secondary-certificate exams; in Qatar, the General Secondary Certificate exams; in Bahrain, the Grade 9 and Grade 12 national exams; and in Oman, the General Education Diploma exams. We prepare students for these exams by reviewing the subjects they cover and practicing questions in their format. You'll find the details for your country on its curriculum page.

Which language tests do you prepare for?

We work with students on their English skills, both for everyday use and for language tests such as IELTS. These also include TOEFL and the STEP English proficiency test. Tell us which test your child needs, and we'll put together a prep plan with you.

Do you promise a particular score?

We don't promise a particular score, because the result depends on the student's level, their effort and the time left before the test. What we offer is a clear plan and regular practice. We keep parents updated on their child's progress along the way.

Is there a trial lesson?

A free trial lesson is available with each teacher, in every section and subject. The trial lesson lasts 30 minutes.

Start preparing with a clear plan

Tell us which test your son or daughter is preparing for and when it is, and we'll suggest a plan that fits the time left. The earlier preparation starts, the more time there is for practice and revision.
