This page explains briefly how Deema Educational Academy handles your data and your child's: what reaches us, why we need it, who we share it with and how you stay in control. Message us on WhatsApp any time if you have a question.

1. What reaches us

The website does not ask for your name or number, and it has no sign-up or payment forms. Your data reaches us when you choose to message us on WhatsApp or by email, and then through lessons and payments:

  • Your phone number or email address, your name, the student's name, age and school year, the subject they need, the times that suit them, and your country.
  • The page and button you started the chat from, which the ready-made message names at the end. You can delete them before sending.
  • Lesson times, and the teacher's notes on the student's level and progress.
  • Bank transfer details and the payment receipt you send us. We never ask for your card details.

2. Why we use it

  • To answer your questions and send you the price for your country.
  • To arrange lessons and choose the right teacher and times.
  • To keep the parent updated on the student's progress.
  • To confirm payments and keep a record of them.

We do not sell your data or your child's data to anyone. We do not send promotional offers or marketing messages on WhatsApp.

3. Younger students' data

A parent or guardian registers, communicates and pays for a student under 18, and supervises according to the student's age. We keep only the student data that teaching needs. Teachers contact a student outside lessons only through the parent or the academy's number, never through their personal numbers or accounts.

We record lessons only with the parent's consent, and never use a recording outside the student's own follow-up. We do not need health information about the student; if you feel a health detail would help the teacher, share only as much as is needed.

4. Who we share it with

We share data only with these parties, and only as much as needed:

  • The student's teacher: what they need to teach and follow up.
  • WhatsApp, owned by Meta: where our chats with you take place.
  • The lesson platform the student uses.
  • Google: the Gmail inbox where we receive your emails, and Google Analytics and Google Ads only if you agree to them.
  • Cloudflare: the company that hosts the website. Its Web Analytics tool counts visits and measures page speed for us, without cookies and without tracking you personally, so it runs whatever you choose in the cookie window.
  • Banks when you make a transfer, and official authorities if the law requires it.

Our teachers and support team currently work from Egypt, and some data may be stored on these services' servers outside your country.

5. Cookies

  • The deema_consent cookie: remembers your choice in the cookie window for 180 days, so we don't ask on every visit.
  • Google cookies: they load only after you agree to analytics. Google Analytics then records your visit and your presses on WhatsApp buttons, without your message text or your number. If you also agree to advertising, Google adds cookies it uses to measure and personalize ads.
  • A Cloudflare security cookie: our hosting provider may set one to protect the website from attacks. It is not used for analytics or advertising.

You can change your choice at any time with the “Privacy settings” button at the bottom of every page. When you press a WhatsApp button, the website never sees your message or your number; the chat happens inside WhatsApp.

So that the home page can show what applies to your country, your browser asks Cloudflare which country you are connecting from. The answer stays in your browser and is not stored.

6. How long we keep it

We keep contact and learning data while the student is enrolled, then delete or de-identify it within 12 months of the last interaction, unless the law requires longer. We keep payment records for as long as we need them to show what was paid.

7. Your control over your data

At any time, you can ask to see your data or your child's, to correct it, or to delete it. Message us on WhatsApp or email deema.online.edu@gmail.com. We may ask you to confirm you are the person the data is about, or the student's parent, before we act. We reply to your request as soon as we can.

Deleting some data may mean we can no longer arrange lessons, and we will explain this to you before we act.

8. Updates to this policy

We may update this policy when our services or the website's tools change, and we show the date of the latest update at the top of the page. If the Arabic and English texts differ, the Arabic text prevails.
