Clear steps for parents

How it works

From your first WhatsApp message to regular lessons, we arrange each step with you and keep things clear. Lessons are fully online. Lessons are one-to-one: one teacher per student. Free trial lesson first: your child meets the teacher before you pay anything.

From your first message to regular lessons

Six steps we arrange with you on WhatsApp.

  1. Message us on WhatsApp

Tell us your child's stage and grade, the subject or program they need and your country, so we know their curriculum and can set lesson times in your time zone.

  2. We suggest the right program

We ask about your child's level and what they find difficult, then suggest the program that fits and a teacher who suits them.

  3. Free trial lesson

A free trial lesson is available with each teacher, in every section and subject. The trial lesson lasts 30 minutes, so your child can get to know the teacher and how they explain things before you decide.

  4. We confirm the teacher and times

After the trial, you choose the teacher your child felt comfortable with, and we agree with you on lesson days and times. Lesson times are flexible for each student and set in their country's time zone. Female teachers are available, with a dedicated section for women.

  5. You choose a package and pay

We agree with you on the package that fits your child's schedule. We share the hourly price for your country when you contact us. Payment is by bank transfer. A package is paid for before its first lesson.

  6. Lessons start and we keep you updated

Lessons run on whichever available online platform is easiest for the student. We keep parents updated on their child's progress, so you know where they are and what the next step is.

How a lesson works

What happens during a lesson, and who contacts your child outside it.

  • Full attention for your child

Lessons are one-to-one: one teacher per student, so explanations follow your child's level and pace.

  • A length that suits age and subject

Lessons last 30, 40, 60, 90 or 120 minutes, and we choose the length with you to suit your child's age and the subject.

  • From home, online

Lessons are fully online. Lessons run on whichever available online platform is easiest for the student.

  • In a language your child understands

We teach in the language the student needs. Lessons can be taught in a language the student understands if they don't speak Arabic.

  • Parents stay close to lessons

A parent or guardian registers, communicates and pays for a student under 18, and supervises according to the student's age.

  • Contact goes through the parent

Teachers contact a student outside lessons only through the parent or the academy's number, never through their personal numbers or accounts. We record lessons only with the parent's consent, and never use a recording outside the student's own follow-up.

Flexibility when plans change

A trip in the holidays, exam season or something unexpected? Here are your options, and our terms and conditions set out the details.

  • Pausing a package

You can pause the package temporarily, for travel, exams or illness, for example. A pause can last up to one month, and it does not extend the package's validity or the deadline for requesting a refund. A package is valid for two months from the date of purchase, so let us know early on WhatsApp, before the pause starts.

  • Changing the teacher

A parent can ask to change the teacher. Tell us what didn't suit your child, and we'll suggest another teacher.

  • Making up lessons missed on our side

If the teacher cannot attend, we make up the lesson at another time that suits the student. If a lesson is interrupted by a problem on the teacher's or the academy's side, it is made up at another time and does not count against the package.

Questions about how it works

What should I write in my first WhatsApp message?

Just tell us your child's stage and grade, the subject or program they need, your country and the times that suit you. Then we'll ask what we need to know to suggest a program and a teacher. We do not send promotional offers or marketing messages on WhatsApp.

Can we try more than one teacher?

A free trial lesson is available with each teacher, in every section and subject. If the same teacher teaches the student more than one subject, such as the Quran and Noor Al-Bayan, that is one trial lesson; subjects taught by different teachers each get their own. The trial lesson lasts 30 minutes.

When and how do I pay?

A package is paid for before its first lesson. Payment is by bank transfer. We share the hourly price for your country when you contact us.

What if my child is late or misses a lesson?

If the student is late, the lesson still ends at its original time; if they have not joined within 15 minutes of the start, it counts as a missed lesson. A lesson can be rescheduled or cancelled with at least 24 hours' notice; a lesson cancelled later or missed by the student counts against the package.

What if we want to end a package before using all its lessons?

Let us know on WhatsApp. If a package is ended at the family's request, the value of unused lessons is refunded by bank transfer within 14 to 30 days, after deducting the lessons already given or counted against the package; the student or parent pays the transfer fees. The student or parent also bears any difference in the currency exchange rate on a refund. A refund must be requested within three months of the date of purchase; after that, the value of unused lessons can no longer be claimed.

How can I follow my child's progress and what's left in the package?

We keep parents updated on their child's progress. You can also ask us on WhatsApp at any time what's left in your package. If you have any comments on the lessons or the teacher, please tell us.

Ready for the first step?
