Terms and conditions
Simple rules for the lessons you book with Deema Educational Academy, for your child or for yourself. Please read them before you start, and ask us on WhatsApp about anything.

1. Booking and the trial lesson
We arrange lessons with families on WhatsApp. We send you a link to these terms and the privacy policy on WhatsApp with our first confirmation message, before your first booking or payment.
A free trial lesson is available with each teacher, in every section and subject. If the same teacher teaches the student more than one subject, such as the Quran and Noor Al-Bayan, that is one trial lesson; subjects taught by different teachers each get their own. The trial lesson lasts 30 minutes.
2. Lessons
- Lessons are fully online. Lessons are one-to-one: one teacher per student.
- Lessons last 30, 40, 60, 90 or 120 minutes, as agreed with you.
- Lessons run on whichever available online platform is easiest for the student.
- Lesson times are flexible for each student and set in their country's time zone.
- A parent can ask to change the teacher.
The student needs a suitable device and a stable internet connection.
3. Packages and payment
- Packages are priced per hour, with a price in each country's local currency and a unified US dollar price. We share the hourly price for your country when you contact us.
- A package is a number of hours that you choose, not a monthly subscription. Each lesson uses package hours according to its length, so a half-hour lesson uses half an hour.
- Payment is by bank transfer. A package is paid for before its first lesson. No payment is made through this website.
If you receive bank details in our name from a number you don't know, check with us through the WhatsApp button on this website before you transfer anything.
4. Package validity and pausing
A package is valid for two months from the date of purchase. Unused lessons are not lost when the package expires: you can ask for their value back under our refund policy within three months of the date of purchase. If you do not ask within that time, the unused lessons lapse.
You can pause the package temporarily, for travel or exam weeks for example. A pause can last up to one month, and it does not extend the package's validity or the deadline for requesting a refund. Let us know on WhatsApp before the pause starts.
5. Rescheduling and missed lessons
To reschedule or cancel, message us on WhatsApp.
- A lesson can be rescheduled or cancelled with at least 24 hours' notice; a lesson cancelled later or missed by the student counts against the package.
- If the student is late, the lesson still ends at its original time; if they have not joined within 15 minutes of the start, it counts as a missed lesson.
- If the teacher cannot attend, we make up the lesson at another time that suits the student. If a lesson is interrupted by a problem on the teacher's or the academy's side, it is made up at another time and does not count against the package.
If a lesson is interrupted by a problem on the student's side, contact us and we'll agree on the next step.
If the student travels to a country in a different time zone, let us know so we can review their lesson times with you.
6. Ending a package: refund policy
If you want to end a package before using all its hours, tell us on WhatsApp. If a package is ended at the family's request, the value of unused lessons is refunded by bank transfer within 14 to 30 days, after deducting the lessons already given or counted against the package; the student or parent pays the transfer fees. The student or parent also bears any difference in the currency exchange rate on a refund. A refund must be requested within three months of the date of purchase; after that, the value of unused lessons can no longer be claimed.
7. Conduct and student safety
- Mutual respect in the lesson, and appropriate dress in video lessons.
- Don't share the lesson link with anyone else.
- Teachers contact a student outside lessons only through the parent or the academy's number, never through their personal numbers or accounts.
- We record lessons only with the parent's consent, and never use a recording outside the student's own follow-up. Families may record a lesson only with the teacher's permission, and must not publish the recording.
A parent or guardian registers, communicates and pays for a student under 18, and supervises according to the student's age.
If inappropriate conduct happens in a lesson, we contact the parent. Decisions on ending a lesson and on any inappropriate conduct rest with the academy's management alone. In each case, management decides whether the lesson counts against the package, whether to stop the service, and what happens to the remaining lessons.
If you or your child notice anything that worries you, from anyone, tell us straight away on WhatsApp.
8. Results
We work with each student on a plan that suits their age and level, but we don't promise specific results, such as a particular test score or memorizing a set amount in a set time, because progress also depends on the student's effort and regular attendance. We keep parents updated on their child's progress.
9. Updates to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time, and we show the date of the latest update at the top of the page. If the Arabic and English texts differ, the Arabic text prevails.
